Jillian Schnitzler
About Jill
Jill joined Checkmat Charlotte in February of 2019. She put in an unprecedented number of practices throughout her white, blue and purple belts and was awarded Checkmat Charlotte Competitor of the Year in 2021. Jill achieved the rank of brown belt in spring of 2023 after winning gold at the IBJJF Pan American Championship in both feather weight and open weight. Jill has also medaled at the world level in white, blue and purple belt, most notably earning silver at Adult No Gi Worlds in her blue belt and bronze at Master Worlds in her purple belt. Jill teaches our Ladies only Queen's Class on Sunday and helps out with kids and beginners classes as well.
